During the last 25+ years in UK, my digital transformation experience spans multiple sectors – UK Public sector, Life Sciences, Retail Banking, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Media and Telecom, Global Logistics, Consumer Retail, Defence and Professional services.
In the UK, I have worked with leading Consulting firms like Deloitte, Accenture and Cognizant, currently with Capgemini.
Pre 2001, I was the founder of a Biomass renewable energy project in India; setup IT training institutes across India and led the ERP, CRM and e-Commerce Business Solutions for a US based consultancy.
I have a solid technology background with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering (with AI as an elective subject). I have done hands-on programming, database management, infrastructure upgrade from on-premise to cloud, worked as software engineer, Technical Architect, Project Manager, Programme lead and currently manage large client Engagements.

M&A Technology experience:
Post merger Technology integration across EMEA – consulted during the post M&A merger of 2 large Pharma companies. Supported their EMEA leadership team to carry our business and systems integration across these markets. This resulted in unlocking a major part of $1B synergies targeted by this merger.
Post acquisition Technology integration of Diabetes division for ex-US markets – supported ex-US leadership team to streamline the acquired business and align it with the existing business processes and technology platforms. This resulted in de-duplicating processes, roles and technology platforms in the merged division.
Cyber Defence experience
Led the cyber data defence readiness engagement as per NIST framework. Supported data readiness, governance and quality assurance as part of expanding cyber defence and resilience program. This resulted in building a strong capability to Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover from cyber incidents.
Global logistics platform implementation across 100+ markets
Led the deployment of an upgraded pricing engine to determine dynamic pricing for worldwide vessel utilisation and routing across 100+ markets and released it for internal and partner use to support the entire quote to delivery process. This resulted in increased vessel utilisation, improved margins and greater partner activity.
Technology platform for a high street UK Bank
Led the support and maintenance of the customer services and mortgage advisory platform for a major high street bank. Helped in migrating it to the new platform upon the bank’s acquisition.
Technology platform for an FMCG company
Led the development and deployment of an order management, promotions management, Sales and service across direct and distribution networks across Europe. This improved sales and order taking metrics across their HORECA segment.
Technology platform for a High street Retailer
Supported the customer services platform for a major high street retailer and upgraded the on-premise platform to hybrid cloud. This helped them to optimise and relocate their operations.
Technology platform for a major Utility
Supported the on-boarding, billing, customer services and contract management for business gas network and distribution across UK and European markets. This helped them to track usage and reduce write-off’s.
